Go for the Gold Challenge at Kineo Fit.

Welcome to the FREE Go for the Gold Challenge – our epic 6-week fitness showdown designed to kickstart your 2026 with energy, habits, and a whole lot of fun! Whether you're a 5 am dawn warrior or an evening powerhouse, this Olympic-style competition turns your workouts into a global battle for glory. Join your class "nation," rack up points, earn medals, and help your team claim the podium.

Why We're Doing This:

Fun, Accountability, and Gains! At Kineo Fit, we know January resolutions can fizzle fast – that's why we're turning fitness into a game! This challenge is all about:

  • Fun: Compete as quirky "nations" (like The Ninerlands or Noonited States) with friendly rivalries, weekly hype, and a big podium finish. Expect trash talk, team cheers, and laughs along the way.

  • Accountability: Track your points daily, see your progress on our gym wall (names advancing toward medals!), and lean on your teammates for motivation. No more skipping workouts – your nation needs you!

  • Real Results: Build sustainable habits in exercise, clean eating, and personal growth. By Feb 22, you'll feel stronger, healthier, and ready to crush the year.

It's not just about the gold – it's about showing up, pushing limits, and celebrating every win together. Who's ready to represent?

Challenge Overview

  • Dates: January 12 – February 22, 2026 (6 full weeks of action!)

  • Your Nation: Based on your most frequent class time – unite with your crew and battle for supremacy!

    • 5am: Democratic Republic of Dawn (DRD) Team Coach - Action Jackson

    • 6:15am: Grand Dutchy of Morning Glory (GDMG) Team Coach - Queen Anne

    • 9am: The Ninerlands (NL) Team Coach - Michelle your Bell

    • 12pm: Noonited States (NS) Team Coach - Cole “always on time” Pappas

    • 4:30 & 5:45pm: United Evening Emirates (UEE) Team Coach - Mikael Coooooolman

How to Participate :

Track your daily progress on our simple printable tracker (COMING SOON). Honor system – but remember, your nation is counting on you! (you can also participate solo but being on a team is fun!)

Daily Points (Up to 5 per day) + weekly bonus (10 max) - Weekly bonus challenges are announced before each week.

  • Exercise points (0-2 points MAX IS 2 points daily)

    • 2 points: Crush a Kineo Fit class (the gold standard!)

    • 1 point: At least 30 minutes of other intentional activity (walk, run, bike, etc.)

    • 0 points: Neither

  • Clean Eating points (0-2 points):

    • 2 points: 100% clean – whole foods only, no processed junk, no added sugars/drinks.

    • 1 point: Mostly clean – one or 2 small slips (e.g., a treat or beer).

    • 0 points: More than 2 slips or off-plan.

    Clean Eating Guidelines (easy to follow for real life):

    • Eat mostly simple whole foods and organic as much as possible: Fruits, veggies, proteins (chicken, fish, beef, eggs, beans), whole grains (oats, quinoa), nuts, limit plain dairy and limit seed oils.

    • Avoid: All processed foods, added sugars, sugary drinks, fast food, candy, most bread/pasta (sourdough is ok)

    • Quick Tip: Eat simple and read labels: Aim for 5 or less ingredient foods

  • Personal Daily Habit point (0-1 point):

    • 1 point: Complete your chosen personal healthy habit (e.g., 8 glasses of water, 7+ hours sleep, meditation, limit social media, etc).

    • Choose something before challenge starts - option to switch to another half way through the challenge! – make it yours!

Weekly Challenges (Extra 10 points per week)

  • Physical Challenge (5 points): A fun TBA task each week (e.g., a hiking challenge). Enter on the day you complete it.

  • Food Challenge (5 points): Another TBA (e.g., try and post a new veggie recipe). Same – log when done.

  • Max per week: 45 points (35 daily + 10 bonus weekly). Grand max: 270 over 6 weeks.

Medals and Nation Glory

  • Individual Medals (earned Feb 22 based on your total points):

    • Gold: 210 + points (elite consistency!)

    • Silver: 175 - 209 points (strong and committed)

    • Bronze: 140 - 174 points (solid effort – you showed up!)

  • Nation Ranking: Olympic-style battle! Nations ranked by total medal points (updated weekly projections!)

    • Gold = 3 points, Silver = 2, Bronze = 1

    • Bigger participation means more medals – rally your class!

MUST UPDATE YOUR TOTAL DAILY POINTS (IN THE GOOGLE SHEET SHARED BY YOUR COACH) BY THE END OF DAY MONDAY AFTER EACH WEEK FOR THE MEDAL COUNT NATION TALLY!

Watch your progress on our gym wall:

Names on mini flags advance weekly toward bronze, silver and gold medal zones under your Team Nation! Make sure to advance your flag.

Weekly Hype and Updates Every TUESDAY, check the gym board or group chat for your nation’s projected medal standings (based on points so far). "On pace" thresholds scale weekly – stay in the hunt!
