Directions to the trailhead:
On the weekends parking is limited and we will probably have to park on the road - leave extra time to account for this.
WE WILL START HIKING AT 6:00am! You can drive up early, stay in BV, or camp with us Friday night!
There are options for dispersed camping along 390 road close to the trailhead. Keith and Wyatt will be leaving Colorado springs around 11 am on Friday and will search for suitable camping spots and text those interested in camping where we are with a pin! We will also have our large green Kineo banner where we are camping.
Plan on 7-10 hours (total) of hiking to summit and return.
If you are not feeling well - you can always turn back at any point!
Bring plenty of water, snacks, lunch, rain gear, warm clothes, sunscreen, etc.
You may or may not be cell phone service outside of the BV area.
We will try to get an early start to beat the afternoon weather and will turn around if mother nature is not in agreement for a safe summit.
